Richard (Rick) Holston joined the firm in 2002 and concentrates primarily on cases involving personal injury and death sustained in automobile accident, nursing home negligence, and product failures. While attending school, he competed on the National Moot Court Team which placed second in the national competition. He was recognized as the runner-up "best oralist." He also competed on the ATLA Trial Advocacy Team in regional competition. After graduating law school, he entered private practice with a large litigation firm, gaining experience in industrial accidents, contractor liability, insurer liability fraud, employment discrimination and premise owner liability. He has broad-based experience at the trial level and in an appellate practice.

He is a past president of the Young Lawyers Section for the Tuscaloosa County Bar where he organized and participated in legal topic seminars, charitable fund-raising events and facilitated improvement of the relationship program.

Mr. Holston and his wife Suzanne have one daughter, Katie. He also has three children from a previous marriage, Tyler, Kaylan and Christian. He is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
